19 Kelapa Gading Children Participate in Happy at Home Festival

As many as 19 children in Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta, participated in Happy at Home Festival held by Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency to commemorate National Children Day (HAN) 2020.

The competition held via online. So, each participants should send their videos from home

Kelapa Gading Sub-district PPAPP Unit Head, Rosliana K aban conveyed, 19 children were participated in 4 competitions; where 3 of them joined dancing competition, 10 children joined choir, 5 children joined tik tok competition, and 1 child joined poetry competition.

"Participants age varies between 6-13 years. The competition held via online. So, each participants should send their videos from home," she mentioned, Monday (7/20).

According to her, the compilation video have been sent to the committee at city level on Saturday (7/19). Before taking the picture, RPTRA team in Kelapa Gading Sub-district prepared the participants from finding theme, song, dance, poetry, and tik tok movement which combined with educative animations.  

Next, the video was taken at home or open space without a crowd. Especially for dancing category, team from sub-district also discussed with dance teacher thus the result could be in line with theme and culture they wanted to display.

"The winners will be announced on the peak event of HAN through zoom meeting on July 23," she said.
